The idea to consider the chosen topic arose after watching the movie "2012", which deals with one of the scenarios for the death of people on Earth. In addition, in 2010 our country is celebrating 65 years since the end of the Great Patriotic War, the bloodiest war in history, which also influenced the choice of the project theme.

It is Russia, because of our vast territory and the richest natural treasures, that is potentially threatened by many: the expanding NATO bloc, actively militarizing China and Japan, and some Middle Eastern countries. Despite the end of the Cold War and the arms race, the problem of maintaining peace on the planet has not lost its relevance. Not only high doses of radiation have a damaging effect, but ultra-low X-ray doses can also cause various diseases in humans, including cancer. There are many sources of radioactive contamination, but the main ones are uranium mining and enrichment.

The effect of pollutants on living organisms is felt at different levels. Increased pollution backgrounds can affect individual organisms, their organs and tissues, cells and individual intracellular structures, as well as higher levels of organization of living systems - populations and communities.

The general biological effect of radiation, depending on the dose of radiation, can be expressed in stimulation, inhibition and lethal effect. Ionizing radiation can cause various deformities in the early stages of an organism's development. In the stage of gametogenesis - violations of this process leading to sterility. Radiation also affects the metabolism of plants and animals, affecting a variety of functions of organisms. Thus, for example, when studying the reaction of plants of the combed wheatgrass (Agropyron cristatum) to various doses of irradiation, we found a higher content of sugars, ascorbic acid, and chlorophyll than in control plants. By acting on the physical and chemical structure of chromosomes, radiation causes hereditary changes - mutations. Numerous studies have shown that the effects of radioactive exposure largely depend on the radiosensitivity of organisms, on the type of radiation and on the mode of exposure, i.e. on the distribution of the dose over time or on its rate.

The most important feature of all environmental pollutants is their ability to cause hereditary changes - mutations.

In addition to the above-mentioned consequences of the use of nuclear weapons, one can also name electromagnetic impulses and the impact on the human psyche. An electromagnetic pulse disables most of the known types of batteries, which will lead to the failure of equipment.

A thermonuclear bomb has somewhat different consequences. thermonuclear weapons- type of WMD, the destructive power of which is based on the use of energy nuclear fusion reactions light elements into heavier ones (for example, the fusion of two nuclei of deuterium (heavy hydrogen) atoms into one nucleus of a helium atom), in which an enormous amount of energy is released. Having the same damaging factors as nuclear weapons, thermonuclear weapons have a much greater explosion power. Theoretically, it is limited only by the number of components available. It should be noted that radioactive contamination from a thermonuclear explosion is much weaker than from an atomic one, especially in relation to the power of the explosion. This gave reason to call thermonuclear weapons "clean". This term, which appeared in English-language literature, by the end of the 70s. out of use.

At Adriano Celentano there is a song dedicated to the Third World War (album "Il Re Degli Ignoranti" 1991).

Everything third world predictions the wars made in Conversations with an Angel are based on careful study of the biblical text. 8. We will see many people who wear the same long hair as our people. They will come and learn wisdom in our way.

9. And we will hear about a great heavenly body that will fall with a great crash to the earth. (You know there are space stations that you can get to if you pay, and the Indians predicted that this space station would fall to earth. And not so long ago, the space shuttle Columbia literally exploded into pieces while landing on Earth).

Very soon after this, the Hopi Indians predict a great destruction:

This time is not far off, it will come and take off its mask. A blue star will appear soon (Which is not yet visible, but we will see it soon. This blue star is a comet, which in other predictions is called the dragon's tail. Prabhupada calls it Dumaquetu. Nostradamus says the same).

The comet is as bright as the sun and there will be a big storm for 7 days. 2 suns will appear from the clouds and there will be great grief for people.

Spirits warn you twice.

(The Hopi are talking about the next world war. We have two warnings - there was the first world war and the second). But in the 3rd World War we will be left alone. Because no one will be protected. An ash gourd will fall from the sky (that's their name for the atomic bomb - that's what their bottle gourd looks like). It will fall and make people like grass burning in a forest fire. All people will burn like dry grass. And nothing will grow for many years. Here's what they say.

How should we act?

Prabhupada, one of the most revered lamas in Tibet (see photo 7), writes about this in chapter one of The Source of Eternal Delight:

“In any danger, a man of reason must avoid this danger. But if, with all his intelligence, he was unable to avoid this danger, then he cannot be blamed for this. We should try to do our duty to the best of our ability, but if in doing so it fails, it is not the fault of that person….. we must be determined to carry out our mission despite all opposition. Because devotional service is eternal, and this is the only way that can save us from death.”

The sages advise us to learn how to survive. This means that it is better to live in the countryside, to have a supply of food, that is, a supply of those products that do not spoil: wheat, rice, millet, honey, dried fruits, nuts, dried milk, ghee. If there is no war, then anyway we will eat it all, we will not lose anything. But if there are any disasters, then this food supply will help us. And if something happens, then after that 2 years we won't be able to eat anything because of the radiation. It is also necessary to have a supply of drinking water.

That is, such basic necessities of life, not money!

That is, the most valuable things are land, water, food. These are things that have true value in times of some natural disasters, disasters or during a world war.

It is also necessary to have an idea about radiation and radioactivity, basic things. If you take iodized tablets, this will help you reduce the negative effects of radiation on the body. If you have measuring devices that measure radiation - the Geiger counter that was used during Chernobyl - this will also help you. In any case, do not panic.

Warheads will fly from Russia and opposing warheads will fly from Europe. Where will they meet? And if all this happens right above us and radioactive fallout descends to our earth? You just have to think about all this.

Conclusion

It is Russia, because of our vast territory and the richest natural treasures, that is potentially threatened by many: the expanding NATO bloc, actively militarizing China and Japan, and some Middle Eastern countries. Despite the end of the Cold War and the arms race, the problem of maintaining peace on the planet has not lost its relevance. More than 50 armed conflicts are constantly operating in the world, where people are dying, due to the global crisis in many powers, interest in obtaining natural resources from other countries has increased, including thanks to the military machine. In this regard, we turned to the topic of a new world war.

During the work on the project, we considered the concept, the history of the study of the problem of a new World War, potential scenarios and consequences of the 3rd World War. We also studied the interpretations of the 3rd World War by leading scientists, philosophers and religious figures. Comparative-geographical and historical approaches, modeling method and problem-search method were used.

The goal that we have set for ourselves, to study the scenarios and possible consequences for the world and Russia of a new World War, we consider achieved.

The actual verification of the hypothesis of the total destruction of the human race during the new world war is impossible and unnecessary, but according to authoritative assurances of scientists, if the 3rd World War happens, it will be the last for humanity.

Main conclusions work is that in the next 15-20 years (as long as there is a relative parity of weapons of mass destruction between the United States and the Russian Federation, the most armed countries in the world), we should not expect a new war. If a new global war does happen, the United States, China, the Russian Federation will participate in it, and, from our point of view, it will NOT be Russia that will unleash a new war! World War III threatens humanity with complete annihilation, and the problem of maintaining peace on Earth is one of the leading global problems.

In the course of working on the project, we learned how to work with different types of information sources, with the Microsoft Office software package (Word, Power Point, Excel), with the Photoshop 8.0 photo editor, and gained experience in research work.

The materials, results and conclusions of the project can be used in the educational process when passing through some sections of physics, geography, history, contribute to improving the general culture and expanding the horizons of students of all ages. Turning to the topic of war in the year of the 65th anniversary of the Victory makes you feel again how fragile peace is on planet Earth...

The decrease in demand for German goods led to an increase in unemployment and an increase in the budget deficit. Doesn't it remind you of anything?

Between 1929 and 1932, GDP fell by 25%, industrial production by 40%, agricultural production by 30%, and unemployment reached 50%. There were wage cuts everywhere, and lockouts and strikes began at factories. The ongoing anti-crisis "deflationary" policy of the Brüning cabinet included a reduction in state (primarily social) appropriations from the budget, an increase in the tax burden, and the sanitation of the banking sector. The government managed to prevent the collapse of the German financial system thanks to massive interventions - aimed at buying out the obligations of large troubled banks, restructuring their debts and introducing permanent banking supervision. The refugees have nowhere to go. Concentration camps are not being built yet. There is no war yet. And so the loss of population during hostilities is inevitable.
